MEET JOELLE MILLS

I proudly attended Dillard University before graduating from Texas Southern University where I received my B.S. in Communications (Radio, Television, Film). After graduation, I worked with KTSU radio station, 90.9. I served as producer for morning shows, before being given the opportunity to host and produce my own show titled, “Blast from the Past Old School Mix.” I enjoyed my tenure working in radio, but I was never fully fulfilled. I have always had a passion for helping people, and particularly took an interest in those battling substance abuse issues. I have experience in working with adolescents, mental health, substance abuse, and veterans.
I find my passion while working with those in need, and it is driven by the empathy I have for those who are hungry, jobless, homeless, or who are struggling with addiction. It hurts me to see people suffer when there are resources available to enhance lives and families. Nothing gives me more pleasure than to lend a helping hand to someone and know it has made a difference.
I offer my clients knowledge and skills I know to be effective such as: changing people, places, and things that surround you when trying to make life changes, using your hobbies, and/or starting one to find new fulfillment, and finding and developing your spiritual self to deal with issues that affect your behavior. I share the best practices in the field and bring the best of what I have learned in my own personal journey to empower clients as well. This is not only my passion, but it is also my calling, and iKan Outreach is my mission. You are not just a number here. My team and I care genuinely for your success and for you as a person. Thank you for choosing and trusting us.
